DescriptionFor tonight's Spidey Week post, I decided to feature Miles Morales in a cover appearance with Starling, Adrian Toomes' granddaughter, who Miles appears to have a little crush on.This 2019 250th Anniversary issue included many guest stars, including Peter Parker Spider-Man, plus birthday celebrations, battle action, an appearance of the Green Goblin from the Ultimate Universe, and a new character named Ultimatum, who as it turns out, is .... this is really gonna blow your mind ... hold onto your hat ... he's actually ... well, you'll just have to read it to find out. There was also a very cool (and quite poignant) additional story that revealed the origin of the character of Starling, Adrian Toomes' granddaughter, who had only recently been introduced into the Milesverse. The regular cover for this issue was drawn by Mahmud Asrar. I am happy to own the original art to that one as well (Please see my additional pic). Social/Sharing |

Something tells me that if I invest the time to find out who Ultimatum is for myself, I'm gonna get pissed off. I can just feel the House of Bad Ideas hard at work again! 🤪 But Miles is all hot for this little birdie, eh? And she's The Vulture's granddaughter? That's kind of interesting....Anyway, it's a fun, cute cover that seems to point at the sweet innocence of teenage love. Or is Miles supposed to be like 28 years old already? Regardless, sweet and FUN is my jam!

Oh, you're good, because now I need to know. I love the nice detail with that one cartoony heart. It almost feels like a Skottie nod. This cover is so well set. Perfect perspective to make it pop. Big congrats!

Both covers, eh? I can dig that! Such a unique energy to Ramos's work - that's clearly exhibited here. What stood out to me was the detailing on his costume. Some fine lines there! Must really look great in person. Congrats!
