DescriptionI am a huge fan of Ed McGuinness artwork, easily in my top 5 Hulk artists. I discovered his work on DC with Superman and Batman and later picked up his short Hulk run in the late 90’s and have been a fan ever since. As such, I am always on the lookout for nice examples of his artwork (that is a not so subtle hint).His 2008 Hulk series with Jeff Loeb was an artistic masterpiece and I enjoy adding pages from this run when I can. I especially loved the Hulk vs Ross/red Hulk pages, with the cosmic Hulk story a particular favorite. This page is packed full of goodness – Cosmic Hulk smacking down Ross with the evil M.O.D.O.K. watching with grinning approval! Just look at all those mecha-details …. Ed even drew the muscle veins transitioning in the outer flesh layer. In speaking with Ed, I shared how I loved the classic Kirby cosmic Hulk robot in the Eternals arc and how this reminded me of that story … and it turns out that was his inspiration and loved that arc as well. In addition to subtle hint #1 … Hint #2 – would love to add a nice Superman/Batman page from Ed Hint #3 – would love to add a Kirby Eternals page with the cosmic Hulk (a stretch, I know but you have to always be trying). WOW!!!!! That's one of the best McGuinness pages I've seen. I would've snatched this up in a second. Great pickup buddy! Congrats on getting to it before I did. LOL!

Yeah, this page has everything a Hulk fan needs! Awesome work by EMC. I'm looking for a DPS from this same epic run.

Someone's gonna need some excedrin...extra strength! Agreed, that mechanical vein poking out of Cosmic Hulk's skin rip really is a great touch. Modok, T-1000 Hulk beating up Ross hulk...There's so much good here. I liked McGuinness before, but you're really showing me why I've underrated him. Gamma-sized congrats!

I love me some Cyborg Superman and I wouldn't mind seeing a Marvel/DC crossover pitting him against this Cyborg Hulk! What a fabulous image! Modok ain't half bad either!

Cyborg Hulk looks AMAZING! Really like how Ed draws Modok as well. Definitely raises his "cool" factor. Bravo!!

I've seen this one in person years back and it's killer. I remember the inks being so clean, and overall there's lots to like. You can feel the BOOM in that punch, and the Red Hulk clearly does, too :) And...M.O.D.O.K.! Congrats!

Oh wow, that's been a minute. I don't recall when I picked this up but it has been several years - straight from Ed's rep at the time. Thanks KG!

Yup was back at a con in Dallas in 2015. I do remember it distincty, though, as I was mulling picking it up. Settled on a Nova DPS I really liked instead. But it's cool seeing it here on CAF - takes me back :) Congrats, again!

Hmm, I would have thought it was longer ago than that - thanks for the reminder, I must have picked it up shortly after that show. Great Nova piece, comment left - thanks for choosing it over my Hulk piece!
