Description

This is one of 3 commissions I am expecting with a specific theme. Unknown when I'll receive these from the other artists, but you'll be the first to know. If you were a fan of the 2 Secret Wars series, you will recall that The Beyonder was, quite literally, all powerful. Even a group of Celestials was puny in comparison. After the Wars, Marvel depowered him. They hinted that all the Comic Entities were faking their defeats to help him to achieve a higher level of development as a Cosmic Cube. That sucked. My view here is that The Beyonder does more than TAKE MANHATTAN. He forces Arishem and Galactus to play a game of chess for the fate of the earth. Other cosmic characters observe helplessly. The Phoenix is eagerly waiting to pop her old home. The other commissions will show similiar scenes but from different perspectives. A real beauty here by Joe Rubinstein. Thanks Joe
