DescriptionThis splash page from a never produced series by Alcala is circa late 50s. Rendered before his later hyperdetailed brushwork, Alcala is still finding his way. The influence of Redondo is certainly present in the lighting and brushwork. Truly unfortunate it never saw publication. Ah, what might have been!Social/Sharing |
