Description

I thought I'd go with British artist Josh Kirby today. I picked up this piece from my friend Bob Weinberg around 25 years ago; I think it's the first Kirby I ever bought. It was used as the cover for the second edition of the second Dray Prescot novel, "The Suns of Scorpio," published by DAW Books in 1975. While this is a small piece in person (only around 6" x 10"), it was published inside of a border on the paperback cover, reducing it to around 2/3 the size of the paperback. Unfortunately, that caused a lot of detail to get lost on the book.
