Description

I've had my eye on this cover for quite some time. The desire to own it intensified when I bought two of the four full stories involving one of Vampi's most memorable nemesis, the Blood Red Queen. I'm sure (actually hoping!) that the other two stories involving the BRQ during the Warren years still does exist....somewhere. The first story, illustrated by Maroto is rumored to be in a private collection. Yet no collector has actually seen it to confirm such. Many stories were "lost" from the original Vampirella series.
This cover is the first ever cover image of the Blind Priestess, masterfully done by Enric Torres-Pratt, arguable Warren's best cover artist for Vampirella at that time.
BTW---sorry for the crappy photos. It's very difficult to take great photos when items are already framed. I figure better this than nothing, for now at least...
