DescriptionThis piece featuring Mike McMahon’s Muto-Maniac and ‘The Corpse with No Name’ has appeared in several publications over the years, it was used as the cover to issue 118 of UK Industry magazine Speakeasy and showed up yet again as a pinup in The Simon Bisley Scrapbook (Tundra 1993) and BIZ;The Intense Art of Simon Bisley (Verotik Publishing 1997).It’s a great, ‘in yer face’ piece from that period, with a loud colour scheme, it was originally slated as the cover for the first issue of Toxic! UK but was rejected for not being linear enough...Bisley muses about this at length in a UK Interview from 1991. I believe it to be a far better image than the cover they eventually used... 11.25” X 8” Social/Sharing |
