DescriptionGlad to have a Toth page from this highly reprinted story. In the artists annotated notes of the story this is the page that he seemed to felt held up the best over time with his only real note being that he made the boy a bit too 'lumpy' in the first panel. Also really love the use of shadows in this one and it looks stunning in person at 10x15 instead of the smaller page sizes that Toth often worked at.Social/Sharing |

Congrats on owning this absolutely gorgeous Toth page. I wouldn't worry about the lumpy boy! Toth was so relentlessly self-critical it's almost comic.

Thanks Aaron! The lumpy boy actually doesn't bug me at all. If you take a look at the rest of his annotated notes on the story, this page is the one where he's the least critical of all. The fact he seems actually happy with most of the shots just speaks to how great it is and makes me feel even luckier to own it!

Toth could not make a bad drawing! This is a truly great example of how talented he was. Congrats on snagging a piece of history from a titan of the industry!

Mark! Congradulations on an exceptional piece of comic book art. I love this story! Toth's work for creepy, IMO, is one of the absolute pinnacles of comic books. Such a huge fan of this page. Heart felt congradulations on a severely cool addition to your comic art collection!
