Radio Patrol Sunday 8/20/39 Charles Schmidt

I have seen a handful of examples of this strip over the years. It ran from 1934 to 1950 in the dailies and from 1934 to 1946 as a Sunday. It was by Hearst to compete with Dick Tracy's popularity. Both the writer(Eddie Sullivan) were on the crime beat for Boston American before being recruited for this strip. I always liked the girls, cars and lighting in the strip so waiting for the right one to come along took some patience.
