Description

I don't recall if I had discovered the cartoon or comic strips first as a child in the 80's, but I loved both equally. However, I do remember attempting to collect all the Garfield books that collected the strips. I eventually worked my way back to the first few volumes which jarring to me initially. Garfield looked so different. But the gags won me over and now I actually prefer the older strips to the later ones.

With the purchase of this strip, I had actually intended to buy a pure Jim Davis one but became a little overzealous while bidding on Heritage. It matters not in the end as I really enjoy it!
