DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!10.5x15.5" artboard features pen and ink original art by Rich Buckler (1949-2017), inked by Dick Giordano (1932-2010) for Jonah Hex Vol. 1 #11, published by DC April 1978. Art is for page 3 and features ten panels, showing Jonah Hex asking for an undertaker as he prepares to for shootout w/three card players. One backs out of the fight when he realizes who Hex is while Jonah guns down the remaining two men in last panel. Hex is seen in seven panels, including great panel showing his scarred face. Top margin has inked Jonah Hex title and inked month, issue/page numbers. Back has DC copyright stamp. Fifth panel has cut out word replacement. Thin strip of tape staining at top/bottom margin and artboard has lt. even aging. Art remains clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
