10-5/8x15.75" thin artboard has pen and ink original art (w/screentone accents) by longtime Incredible Hulk artist Sal Buscema w/inks by Joe Rubinstein for page 27 of Incredible Hulk #224, published by Marvel June 1978. Art features five panels, showing Hulk villain The Leader operating the Murder Module to attack Hulk. Last panel features great action shot of Hulk leaping upwards towards The Leader. Hulk appears in four panels while tiny image of The Leader appears in two panels. Second and third panels feature Doc Samson and General Thunderbolt Ross. Stamped title and inked issue/page numbers at top margin, Bottom margin has small page number paste-over and continuation strip paste-over and aged strip of tape at center. Second panel has word balloon paste-over w/some glue staining. Back has Marvel copyright inkstamp as well as dealer inkstamp and two inked prices at top corners. Artboard has even moderate aging and top corners have been clipped. Pin holes at top center and at corners. Some scattered staining, affecting fourth and fifth panels. Fine overall.
