Description

So excited to add this piece to my collection. Not only am I a big fan of the Justice League Europe work that Bart Sears did back in the late 80s and early 90s, but a couple years back I was lucky enough to purchase the entire interior issue of JLE #6.

Naturally, I wanted to re-unite the interior pages with the issues cover, but I don't know if that will ever happen. So when I saw that the 11 X 17 cover pencils the finished cover was based on was sold in a Dueling Dealers episode I missed, I was devastated. Fortunately, the buyer - the wonderful Brian Peck - was kind enough to work out a trade with me and thus I'm able to re-unite these pieces (which is how they will stay as long as I own the art).

Huge, and gracious thanks to Brain Peck for doing this.

Yeah, that's a beautiful preliminary cover. While the "beneath the pair of sexy legs" POV in illustration goes back to before most of us were even born, I have to admit it is one I neve get tired of! Congrats on working it out with Brian.

That's awesome - I loved Bart's work on this book. Remember the DD episode too! Congrats on getting htis, I'd say it was meant to be.

Sweet!!! Glad you were able to reuninite it with the interiors, noww to find the published cover. This cover always reminded me of Rod Stewart's "Hot Legs" video from the 80s. Sears did some great covers for the series, I am satified with my JLE #18 cover. Congrats!!!!
