Thor 12- page 19- Nic Klein

Jane Foster Valkyrie is fed up and looking for Odin to help set things straight in this penultimate page of issue 12 of Donny Cates, Nic Klein and Matt Wilson's epic run on Thor. This is the second page of Nic's art from this series that I was lucky enough to pick up and his work continues to stun. I love the washes and the panel flow of this page.

A fun kicker for me was the callback to Cate's Cosmic Ghost Rider. Frank ends up at this bar in that series as it was apparently recommended to him by a friend for a fantastic Happy hour. Turns out this deep space outcast saloon is a favorite of the Allfather, and it makes yet another appearance in the recent Beta Ray Bill series by Cate's buddy, Daniel Warren Johnson. I love silly continuity like this, and hope to visit Don's Bar and Grill many more times.
