Great early Garfield daily featuring the very first appearance of Liz Wilson, Garfield's veterinarian and Jon's main love interest. Me being a vet myself, this was a must-have... :-))

Jim Davis Garfield Daily First Appearance of Liz Wilson Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-26-79 (United Feature Syndicate, 1979). Garfield's visit to the vet results in the debut appearance of none other than Dr. Elizabeth "Liz" Wilson; the lovely, kind, caring, animal-loving, sometimes sarcastic, romantic interest of Jon Arbuckle. Liz would be destined to become the fourth most frequently appearing character, after Garfield, Jon, and Odie. This first appearance daily was created in ink and Zipatone over colored pencil on Bristol board, with an image area of 14" x 4". In Excellent condition.
