It's just my taste and opinion but for me it's difficult to find anything better in the hobby than John Romita Sr. inking himself! ... maybe I have excedeed ... JB + Tom Palmer ... JR + Jim Mooney ... Kirby + Sinnott ... Adams + Giordano ... Adams + Wrightson ... Byrne + Austin ... Byrne + Byrne ... ;)
The last issue of this amazing hero in green costume... This page is a perfect exemple of JR technique and precision.

Every panel has that distinctive touch. I like the attention he paid to the feathers, the buildings, and the faces. It works so well together. And then when Romita adds the Falcon in such a beautiful flying pose, it reaches that level of special.

Great art but the dialogue. Do you think you would get away with mentioning boys club and rubdown in the same set of speech bubbles today? Sharon does look beautiful but John always draws beautiful womwn.
