Sal Buscema puts high energy in this recap to fuse elements pulled from various events in the Marvel lore. Roy Thomas and Buscema weave these scenes to seed the Kree-Skrull war that has been building to this moment since the early days of Marvel. A classic work to be sure!
Spectacular page! That last panel does it for me!
Sal rocked the Avengers for a good long run. One of my favorite artists of the silver and bronze for sure. Great page!
