Description

This “Lakers Girl” airbrush on board c. 1985 created by LA airbrush Master Peter Palombi. This very large painting was created for the Lakers poster. Peter Palombi did numerous posters for sports teams in the late 70s, including working for the NFL .. I will show you the famous New York Jets poster as an example.

Seller is looking for serious offers. Signed lower left. (I love the George Petty style influence in her jacket!).

He worked mostly with acrylic airbrush during this period. Fun Fact: Peter and Patrick Nagel were roommates during the mid 70s and Peter, already a famous working illustrator and working at Playboy, is often credited by close friends of Pat as being influential to Pat's first job at PLAYBOY. The rest is history.

Condition report available. I’m trying to find a copy of the poster it’s very hard to find these days.
