DescriptionLast night I posted the cover to Amazing Spider-Man vol 5 #7.Tonight, I am posting three sequential interiors from the same issue. Peter, who pretended to be a villain called "The Liar" in order to get into the villainous hangout called The Bar With No Name, now uses that fake persona to try to fast talk his way out of a battle with a bunch of criminals. The ruse seems to be working on the not-so-bright villains (that last panel is really funny), but the White Rabbit sees right through Peter's bull-#$%&. (That's my girl!) But Peter's ploy gives Boomerang enough time to arm an explosive boomerang which provides a distraction for Peter and Boomerang to escape (next page). Social/Sharing |

Ha! Terrific page! Wonderful visual storytelling by Ramos. Don't need the words at all. Well, okay, maybe a little. ;-)

The top right Ramos illustration is the unique visual of the page, but the quippy Peter is that fast paced humor panel work that Ramos used to perfect on Impulse.

Oh yeah, that cute Bunny Girl from Marvel Team-Up makes this page. Great dialogue!

BWA-CONFUSE! So says the Liar. Lol! This was a great fight series, Paul. Thank you very much for posting it. I love this last panel when Pete uses his very best super power. His mouth! I love this story. Very cool find. Congrats!

Over the years, Ramos' style has changed in minor ways but the feel is still the same. He has a gift for drawing emotions in such an expressive and uniquely personalized manner. His work never ceases to amaze me! Congrats on a great page man!

That 3rd panel reminded me of Superior Spider-Man - definitely a Doc Ock as Pete expression there :) But alas 'tis a ruse! Will it work?! Also like the juxtaposition the hatch-y image at the top right brings to the page. Congrats!

Oh no. That means 8-Ball's exploding balls with take out himself out. What a horrible way to go.
Thug 1 "How did he die?"
Thug 2 "you know, exploding balls"
Thug 1 "yea, hate when that happens"
