Description

Great (almost) full splash page with Wagner's rendering of his classic early-years Batman along with the more bat-like cape flowing. Have to appreciate that great background as well!

The large panel is really great, but I love the smaller one too. Perfect Wagner Batman! Congrats!

An absolutely GORGEOUS Wagner Batman page (maybe his very best)! Most sincere congratulations on this treasure. The figure of Master Wayne is, of course, stunning, but it is the shading and detail on the buildings behind him that really make this thing sing, imho. All the fully rendered backgrounds and more "traditional" pen and ink foreground figures make viewing the black and white page of original art more like looking at an animation cell (with the moving figures in the foreground and the "anchored" backgrounds behind it). This is a superb example in every respect. Congrats again!
