Hellboy the Island 2

So here is a purchase I made last year. It was an interesting experience that made me feel very international. First I knew I wanted another Hellboy page by Mignola. As most of you know, finding someone to give up these pages is one thing. Finding one that is within your price range is another. I was fortunate to do both here on CAF. I located this page from a fellow CAFER in Spain. He was looking to make a bigger purchase and needed to sell stuff off. the timing and the price was right. But then there was the issue of payment. I guess he didn't have paypal, and for a while things went round and round. That is until, I remembered Will at comic art page, had an escrow service. So I called him up and he helped broker the deal. From then on in things went smooth sailing because the seller and I were comfortable using him as a middle man to handle the money and the artwork.
so if your ever apprehensive about sending large amounts of cash to a foreign country and someone you have never dealt with. I would highly recommend an escrow service. And more importantly, I would recommend Will. Not only does he have great artwork, he's a great middle man for these types of transactions. that being said, I'm happy to say this piece of artwork is back on U.S. soil.
