DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11x17"DC Comics artboard features pen and ink original art for page 1 title page from Azrael #15, published by DC March 1996. Art is by Barry Kitson, known for his superhero comic work w/Marvel and DC Comics. Art was for the multi-part Batman comic titles Contagion event and is for Part 5: Requiem For An Immortal. Art shows Triad criminal Hong being held at gunpoint, the half-page panel at left surrounded by skulls. Right side of page features paste-over stats for creative team as well as publishing indicia. Top margin has inked title, issue/page number as well as publication month and publishing code. Back has DC copyright inkstamp and inked title. Missing "Contagion" title paste-over at top right, revealing some glue staining and creator paste-over has crease, but o/w art is clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
