Description

The last installment of Kropotkin the Great CAF week is the "birth page" (credits to Jordan Joanou for the term) as seen in panel 4 with the magician looming in the shadows of Bruce Banner's apartment complex. Epic? Historic? Grail? None of the above, but an intro page of a fun and nostalgic character in Hulk's storied history. Sal Buscema had so many guest inkers during his run on the Hulk and I am thrilled to have an example by the great Tom Palmer who did this issue. And this concludes Kropotkin the Great CAF week (unless I unearth another page shortly).

KROPOTKIN THE GREAT is crowning in this birth page! Sal's dialation of his line work on this page is ready and the story just needs a little push to fully spring off our hero!

What a delightfully sneaky & creepy way to introduce the character of Kropotkin. Poor April Sommers. "So much for sleeping tonight" is right.

Kropotkin the Kreeper. They probably should have put a playing card or wand in his hand. :) It's a neat birth page, and I didn't even know that Palmer inked any Sal Hulk books. How fitting that he worked with both brothers. Very cool find. Congrats!
