Dagger? Dazzler?? Daggler??? Not sure, but a fun little piece none the less.

I think its obvious I have several pieces by Arthur that are more significant than this one, but the art buying bug has found me again in the past year or so, and one can not have too much Adams in my book. Despite lacking in some detail, this 9" x 12" sketch does have one of the more dynamic poses I've seen Art use, and that's saying a lot. Glad to give it a new home.

Arthur's classic sketches are just that. A reminder of a simpler time of conventions long past. Great example as these tend to hold great sentimental value.

If I did not think you were joking with the description, this would be like a dagger in my heart. Art working on a heroine with a costume so sexy it makes powergirl look like a prude.

How fun to see a piece I used to own, I got this as a commission from Art Adams at San Diego in 1987 when I was 22 years old. I sold it some time in 2013.
