Sweet Piece. I find this different in a lot of ways. Unique pose for sure. Also feel he's forward channeling some line work that would become a much bigger part of his style years later. He also "boxes in" characters in a lot of his current commissions.Very interesting. Congrats.
Wow. Fantastic example from this killer run. Great display of both artist's skills, and this proves you don't always need action for a strong page of art. The book was so cinematic - love it to this day. Nice score.
Well this piece is tons of fun. Love the placemnet of his sognature. Thanks for sharing!
Incredible addition Jim. He took one of the coolest costumes of all time and really made it his own. Awesome background elements as well. Just stellar. Thanks for sharing!
Stunning! Nice to see another adge to edge masterpiece. Love the gadgets and gear, the fallen foe, and of course, the amazing use of color. Here, the hues are used so well in each quadrant, but we also have an over arching gradation from top to bottom. Brilliant. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
Wow. The most finished piece by Hembeck I've ever seen. Stellar!
Thanks Paul. I so wish I could find the connecting page. That's a bad-ass skelton you see along the right edge.

Absolutely Top Notch. Congrats on such a fine aquisition. Love it all, including a great depiction of Beast. Mind blowing for me that anyone could give this or the original cover up. Nice you were in a position to get something so hefty. Congrats!
Wow. This is Bad-Ass. Love how he is seemingly confined by the canvas Kevin used. Pure power ready to unleash. Great example of Nowlan's art. Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Easy to see why you were stoked to grab this. To your point, I saw the date on the piece and was noticing how it totally holds up to past work. Still snoozing, while still hoping, to get a nice example for my own collection. Congrats and thanks for sharing.
Exquisite. Thank you for sharing such a lovely piece. Love the hues. Makes one feel warm and fuzzy despite the elements :)

Increible page. Among the best in the book for sure. Congrats! Rubenstein is cited in no credits. What's the story there?
Kick Ass! I dig the tight rendering on Lobo's face. Something Simon doesn't always go for. Congrats.
Fantastic. The hand-drawn frame really does send this to another level. Love the lighting Arthur used. Congrats!
Wow. Drop Dead Gorgeous. Both the girl and the rendering. Congrats!
Killer. A great pairing of artist & character. Kudos.
Thanks for the comment. Surprised to hear you don't feel it holds up. I saw as is a young teen - MANY times. While I didn't know the term at the time, I think camp is what they were targeting & completely nailed. Just meant to be a fun romp I think. Visually splendid and some of Queen's best music ever. A recent rewatch made me realize it's a bit of a love letter to Barbarella as well. Cool drawing regardless. Thanks again. BTW - your gallery is Amazing! I'll try to get back by for a visit.
Incredible. The buildings in the background are mind blowing.
As good as it gets. Major Congrats. Neal's original is one of the best Avengers covers ever, and Arthur kicked serious ass on this homage. Love It!
Kick Ass. Smart way to get something more unique from the man.
As good of an example by Timm as one could ever hope to have. My lady and I fit some Hammer viewing in every October. And the one and only Caroline Munro front and center in such a strong composition? My goodness. Color me envious.
Fantastic! Love the skirt she's wearing. I'll thank you again for sharing all of this work by Oksner. Makes me realize my having only one example from this giant is not nearly enough.
Awesome page. Envious on this one. Personality for days.
Killer page with nice flow. Love the depiction of floating in panels 1 and 3.
Nice Page Kevin. Lucey has become my favorite Archie artist. Love the jestures and expressions.Kudos.
Nice Page. Great use of perspective throughout. Congrats.
Congrats Steve! I've been following this since it's recent debut on eBay. If my income were different I'd have been all over it. I love all of Arthur's work, but seeing the early stuff is always a treat. What a great treasure to have exhumed and out in public. Enjoy it. An awesome early work for sure!
