Description

"Rubbermaid" by Los Angeles illustrator and airbrush great, artist Brian Zick. Board is nice size at 20" x 21.5' signed lower right. Never framed.

"Rubbermaid" Zick said is inspired by the fetish scene and works he loved by the late Robert D. Blue (Bettie Page lovers you know who that is, right?)

Brian Zick's "Rubbermaid" was published several times. First, as a 1982 as a Paper Moon Graphics Greeting Card. I did love Paper Moon cards in the 80s. Anyone else?

It was later published as an interior page in Brad Benedict's "The Blue Book' in 1983. Brian Zick had five published images in that book alone! This appears on page 45 right next to Blue's Bettie. I met with Brian and had him sign my book! I highly recommend buying the book and "Fame" Volume 1 and 2 if you are an airbrush fan.
