What can you say about Alan Davis, other than he's still got it?! I think he's really hitting his rhythm for inking his own work again.

New Mutants Annual 2 is one of my favorite books for a lot of reasons. The Wildways section had some great art and story, so I asked Alan to expand on that. He was able to fit in way more characters than I asked for, and I couldn't be happier with this piece. Huge thanks to Paul for setting this up.

Look, it's not enough you get all the cool Bill S. New Mutants stuff, and that terrific Davis Doug and Warlock portrait, but now you have to go and flaunt THIS truly remarkable commission in our faces? You cad! You monster!!

Masterfully done art by one of the greatest X masters! Huge congrats on this X-tremely fun piece. You are very aware of the love I have for the book that inspired this piece. Wild and crazy design that works X-ceptionally well from the originator of this world. Huge congrats on this uncanny New Mutants commission!

New Mutants Annual #2 falls into the category of books I read so often as a kid that my copy is falling apart. This is a phenomenal piece!
