Look, it's not enough you get all the cool Bill S. New Mutants stuff, and that terrific Davis Doug and Warlock portrait, but now you have to go and flaunt THIS truly remarkable commission in our faces? You cad! You monster!!

I'm pretty sure I went to this circus in my early 20s but for the life of me I can't remember a thing about it.
New Mutants Annual #2 falls into the category of books I read so often as a kid that my copy is falling apart. This is a phenomenal piece!
