Description

Beautiful work executed Jones in the late 1990s...oil on board, slightly smaller than 16 x 20"...although it was a commission of the Greek Myth "The Birth of Athena", it looked like a representation of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit to me...I mentioned this to Jones and he agreed--and commented it looked like that to his wife at the time (Mary Ellen) ...I suppose the answer is in the eyes of the beholder...a very satisfying work.
