DescriptionWhile it is not quite a true grail- it certainly is a great and appreciate piece. The legendary team of Staton and DeCarlo at their finest. Great shots of the John, Hal, a suspendored Ch'P and a salty Salaak.Social/Sharing |

Even though people often give the advice not to chase squirrels in this hobby, one just has to look at this page and admire why squirrels are so desirable and why their art is deserves more recognition. With so many different types of species, the Green Lantern Corps needed the steady hand of Staton to cleanly and effectively introduce each one and how they move, occupy their environment, etc. as a model for artists to follow.

You have some great call outs, Staton definitely brought other worldly, but relatable characters to the title.
I am of 2 minds on Ch'P. While I am partial to Newton's original realistic depiction, Staton brought an extra dimension to him. I am proud to say, I have great examples from both of them

Great Staton Green Lantern page! Very cool that this is Kilowog's 1st appearnce and you managed to get a page with him on it! Clearly there aren't enough characters on this page! Congrats, sir!

Tons of characters on the page, yet beautifully balanced so as to be very pleasing to the eyes. Having Killowog in that one panel really makes it special, too. Congrats, Jason!
