"And Men Shall Call Him... Warlock!" Which is good, because his previous name was "Him". This last page of the story is the very page where he receives his name and also the Soul Gem, one of the Infinity Stones, courtesy of the High Evolutionary. In fact, this very page was the first appearance of any Infinity Stone in the Marvel Universe. Adam Warlock's presence in the Marvel movie universe was hinted at in the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy II. So we expect to see him on the silver screen soon. His history is inextricably wound up with the Infinity Gauntlet and the Infinity Stones. This page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15".

Kane and Warlock and some good inks (hit and miss on these early issues) - pretty darn cool with or without a soul gem- but it is cooler with it! 8 )
