Description15" x 10" image area. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Batman #431 Page 14 Original Art (DC November 1989). Jim Aparo and Mike Decarlo. It's the 80's ..... of course, it had to be ninjas! A three panel pure combat page with no dialogue. Aparo's Batman work in this era is pure eye candy! A picture's worth a thousand word! That first panel sold me! Social/Sharing |

Wow !! One of the best Aparo/Decarlo pages I'd seen ! Personally, I love Decarlo's inks over Aparo and it doesn't get better than this !

A Jim Aparo page from 1989, "The Year of the Bat"? It doesn't get better than this.

Beautiful Aparo artwork and we get the Bat cape being worked. We also get DeCarlo's take on the classic Aparo brow that he goes over with his brush.
4 Ninjas. Each with their own style of weapon. Aren't they from the Master Splinter clan?

Thanks guys! I've only been collecting since joining CAF (October 2017) but it didn't dawn on me until now this is my first Aparo piece. Glad to break the seal with a page like this.

I was so tempted to bid on this one. Really glad you were able to get it. Every panel is amazing. From the classic Aparo brow and cape to a battle with ninjas? Everything you could want in one page. Huge congrats!
