This piece is really classic. The figure treatment, both with the man and the creature, match the highest Brocal standards with his typical brush and ink.Note the wonderful horse that has some resemblance with Delacroix's Napoleon famous portrait.
The spooky ambiance and the figures in the mist have also some Frazetta air...
Chinese ink and fine brush, as 99% of Brocal Remohi work. Also some greasy pencil work, specially in the foreground surface treatment. Even if it's under the "pen and ink" category, but there's no "brush and ink" one. Can you hear me, COMICARTFANS stuff? ;-)
Sive is roughly 30x50cm, or 12"x20", being the draught area a bit smaller as you see.
