Fred Fredericks Mandrake the Magician Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-19-77 (King Features Syndicate, 1977). Fredericks brings an old-fashioned strip-composition attitude to King Features' reduced dimensions of the 1970s, and the result almost could pass for an old-school layout of the 1930s or 1940s, aside from the shorted dimension. Ink over graphite, with Zipatone on board with an image area of 13" x 3.75". Light toning and handing wear, and discoloring in the Zipatone shading film. In Very Good condition. - ha.com
