Sweet!
Even the lettering is classic!
Great addition Garrrry!
Great piece by a great artist! Beautiful hand lettering! And look at that comic art collector yeti sighting in the photo!
Very cool.
Really nice pickup!!
More than super, simply incredible.
That's Dope!!
This page also has that naiive look that Supergirl carried around in the early days.
Too bad she calls out someone else's name when she's excited...
Lovely depictions of Supergirl like this are like a ray of sunshine and make me feel better about the world. Thank you for bringing her to CAF!
Schaffenberger drew the prettiest Supergirl!
I'm trying to decide if I'm more surprised that you got the great Schaffenberger piece or that your subject even allowed you to take the picture.
Love the extra push in the chest. Reminds me of Power Girl at the Moy booth all those years past. Meeting a couple outcast boys at the Sports bar and grill. Lovely.
beautiful pièce - love it !!!
This definitely needed a home on CAF, and your collection is the perfect landing spot. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
What a wonderful and super piece!!!
Really great.
A great piece from when comics where a lot more fun and innocent. Even though I've never met him in person, I've seen a few pictures of him and I can tell even through the blurry DM webcam you used that you had an engaging conversation with the esteemed Mr. DLS!
That DM additional image shows you know people with superpowers. Blurman.
The blur is because I borrowed the webcam from a prominent claim show host.
Lovely image. Schaffenberger was great on Supergirl, as he was on Mary Marvel (and Shazam in general). The daintily stretched feet give a floaty look to her flight. Thanks for sharing!
Iconic Supergirl. . Iconic Style!! Gr8 Grab!!!
Good joke Supergirl, but listen to me, there is always a need for flying mice ;)
great Marcus, very beautiful pick
Really lame joke, but superb art ! And yes, Schaff's Kara is still unmatched in juvenle grace and beauty but also nobility and posing as a perfect example for Kryptonioan power (of course, Kurt trained hard in dozens of Lois Lane issues before drawing S-girl always so beautiful, mixing 1950s Pinup-Girly-style with early feminism and assertiveness :) )
Elegant, Simple and classy. Love it
Wonderful example of Kurt's work. Congrats.
