A powerful splash with an iconic Green Lantern in space flight! Both artists with a realism bent work together to get that dynamic feel destined to be recognized as a classic!

The textures in the flames add so much to the intensity. Really amazing piece! Huge congrats!

This was a great book, made that way by the peerless pencilling of Brent Anderson and really put over the top by the masterful inking of Bill Sienkiewicz. What a fabulous page!

It really is one of the more overlooked books of the time, given everything that was happening (and was about to happen) in the GL books. I think the book itself is out of print, and is unavailable digitally. It's a shame, because the story serves as a sort of prequel to GL Rebirth.
