Rio Kid Pulp Cover Art

Another Western genre masterpiece featuring Bob Pryor, The Rio Kid by the great George Rozen.

This is a tightly rendered pencil cover prelim for the 1945 Winter issue of "The Rio Kid Western".

Depending on what chronology and format you accept (back in the wacky days of the Pulps, things were not as tightly tracked as today), The Rio Kid ran from either 1935 - 1955 or 1939 - 1953.

Penciled on 7.5 X 10.25 Vellum. A gorgeous work of art.
