DescriptionEd McGuinness - Heroes Return #1 p 14Just getting around to posting this piece, and I’ll keep it brief since I’ve already gushed enough about Ed McGuinness, Mark Morales, and this fun event. As a big Squadron Supreme fan, I jumped at the opportunity to have a nice action page featuring the Blur and Doctor Spectrum. That being said, it became a no brainer because of the Avengers characters. First, I love how McGuinness rendered Black Panther’s classic costume. Second, I think having Doctor Spectrum’s defeat at the hands of Starbrand in the second panel is super cool. Lastly, the break out star from this event - Starbrand aka Brandy - steals the scene, especially with her iconic pose in the last panel. We're going to need a bigger budget for all these hard hitting McGuinness effects! They all serve to bring Star Brand to prominence on the page and story!

Great observation - I always love when a character or the action spills out of a panel, which Ed employed multiple times here!
