Conan & Bêlit by Justin Mason

I can't recall exactly where I first laid eyes on the artistic stylings of Justin, but I was sold from the first pen scratch!

This Conan, with the clenched jaw & the fierce look perfectly captures what a warrior of that type looks like.

Justin's compositions always work crazily (as does his art-work) and he'll slap anything on the page just to get the image just right.

The expert application of zip-a-tone (real, paste-on stuff, not a thing digital here!), the splotches of grey-wash just work so well.

I can't fully express how great this piece is and how much I adore it, so just give it another good look, thanks!
