Description

I was originally only going to get one page but then decided a pair would be nice 'cos I've decided to try and get pages in pairs when I can. It was so hard to decide because this is a great issue! I first limited the decision to pages with both John and Swampy in them and then 'just' went with getting the consecutive page to go with p12. I like this page a lot and love that face on Swampy there.

Incredibly dark page emphasized by the black borders and heavy shadows. McCrea takes us on a dark journey with immense linework and twisting steel into and around the man. The mystery takes off from here.

Love this look from Mcrea! Getting a nice sequence of pages really helps to add appreciation of the storytelling and not just the art.

I love the full page, but those last three panels are really impressive. The linework is so tightly controlled. It's not easy to make all that cross hatching work but this is perfect. Huge congrats!
