Description

From 'The Death of Japan' issue.
I brought this cover to a con to show Sean, figuring he might appreciate seeing it again. He said that this was only his second ever published cover after issue 9, and he’s never seen that one again. So it was a nice reunion!

Sean Chen's cover layout is so strong here! The free falling action towards us gives him the freedom to draw Rai and his team in open space for some freeform figures.

I remember this cover from when this book first hit the stands. Chen is such an amazing talent, and his skills are on full display here. Great stuff!

I loved the cast of characters in Rai and the Future Force. Sometimes things don't hold up with age but I reread the whole run earlier this year and it was still pretty good.
