Artwork Details

DescriptionFellow lister Rich Cirillo gets the credit for this idea, and Spencer Beck gets the credit for suggesting I have Bob be the artist to bring it to life.Bob McLeod took that idea and turned it into something amazing. The basic idea, Kraven the Hunter with his trophies. Being a hunter it only made sense to make the trophies all of the "animal" named characters that worked. One commission turned into two. One piece with all the "Good" Marvel Animals, one with all the "Evil" Marvel Animals. I asked Bob to give me the feel of the "Kraven's Last Hunt" story he did with Zeck, and he nailed it. Intricate backgrounds, and small details really flesh out the pieces. Social/Sharing |

Bob hit the nail on the head! He captured the Kaven Last Hunt look. Love the idea of two pieces with heroes and villians! Another GREAT piece!

This would make a great sketchbook. I hate that you thought of it first.

That woodwork is unbelievable! Bob's always been one of my favorites, and this is absolutely amazing! This theme really gives artists a lot to play with, which Bob has totally gone to town on! Chris is a great imaginative patron to work for and I think that's one of the reason his collection is so awesome!

Wow! Bob really knocked this out of the park! His lighting and shadows really adds a moody tone to this amazing work of art! I love everything about this, as one page plays off the other, almost like looking through a warped mirror! I was as excited to see how this one turned out as you, and Bob didn't disappoint! Congrats Chris!
