Grail Alert!

I've wanted one Angus McBride's luminous history paintings in my collection for a while. A goal would be page from Osprey Publications, but those seem as rare as hen's teeth. But, thanks to the good folks at Squadron Signal, I have this lovely gouache panel, produced sometime between 1970-74 for Valiant Miniatures a 54mm white metal figure line produced by Squadron Rubin.

History come to life with such vivid colors and action battle poses that seem to work at any angle. It sure made history class seem less dry and spark the imagination with the visual and physical representation in hand.
