Description

As soon as I heard about this project, I was onboard and wanted some of the OA. As a sucker for history and time travel stories, the concept of King Arthur vs Blackbeard captured my imagination immediately. The incredibly energetic art of Chris Imber feels like a cross between Joe Mad & Humberto Ramos in all the best way really fits this type of swashbuckling adventure featuring two historical titans! There were many pages from the book that spoke to me, but I narrowed it down to 4, all reasonably priced. This is page 3 of a 3 page sequence that features a time displaced Arthur boarding a pirate ship and confronting his enemies.

This silhouette image of Arthur was also used on the cover of the hardcover edition of the book.

Both bring their most intimidating look to this splash! However, That salt air can't be good for the armor.
