DescriptionX-Force/Cable: Messiah War, One-Shot, 2nd Printing, Variant, Wrap-Around Cover. 2009.Hands down my favorite cover from the Chris Yost/Craig Kyle iteration of X-Force. I was a big fan of their run on the title. The team was bad ass. The stories were great. The art was dynamic, aggressive and violent. Perfectly executed on style & tone, it was an exemplary representation of the clandestine mutant kill squad. Mike Choi produced a lot of memorable art throughout this run, having worked on roughly half the Yost/Kyle issues. But this one ALWAYS stood out to me. So glad to own such an iconic depiction of the team, by an artist that is up there with the all-time best to have drawn them. It is two boards and 21 x 15 inches of pure awesome! Social/Sharing |

The arc created by the Archangel wings help form a circle from which the team springs forth from.

So nice! I, too, loved Choi's work on X-Force - so many memorable images, this among them. Lotsa characters, nice and big on 2 boards, and that sublime pencil rendering. I have a cover as well which is still a fave piece. Congrats!

Wow!! I've been wondering who had this original art. Love the silver and black Wolverine. Kyle and Yost's run was excellent, along with Remender's Uncanny xforce. Congrats

Wow! Knockout of a cover for X-Force/Cable: Messiah War! Stunning art by Mike Choi! I love the image of Wolverine leaping almost off the page. Mike did a great job here of pulling together the whole team into a cool cover design. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
