after facing personal challenges for about a year, #tomgrindberg hit rock bottom�however, thankfully, he�s back on his feet finding his art groove again;
.
tom�s art represents a past era�qua the illustrative prowess of #frazetta #jallenstjohn and (early) #alwilliamson, to name a few; jungle heroines with wildlife in lush surroundings, space men battling aliens, and sword wielding barbarians are some of his admirable subjects;
.
in fact, a senior frazetta estate family member stated that tom�s work, to paraphrase, is the closest art today to frazetta�s work; and during tom�s visit to the estate, he sat and worked in the same studio as where the master once rendered masterpieces;
.
a heartfelt thank you to tom for getting this piece in my collection;

Lively figures as they have purpose and energy. They inhabit the setting in a realistic sense as if they belong and are an extension of the environment.
