Description

Here's Ricardo Federici's gorgeous Azrael cover for @DCComics @thedcnation BATMAN URBAN LEGENDS #8, based on @NikolaCizmesija's design for Jean-Paul. When I saw Ricardo post this I immediately knew I had to grab it. Azrael has always been one of the characters that stood out to me when it came to relatability but it has not been easy tracking down the classic pages featuring him. But this cover is a refreshed version of Azrael and really brings the magic of him and the Bat when they come together.

That Azrael red is blazin' across the cover! Batman blends in the background especially well and hides from the attention to surprise his prey.

Azrael has such a sick costume! Love what Ricardo is doing with oils and this is a great example.
