Real popular even back in the day as DC was experimenting with comedy and romance in superhero titles. It was a fresh change of pace reaction from the gritty and dark series and it garnered a lot of fans for putting fun back into comics. This certainly places a time stamp on the series with the short lived revival of Superman Blue making an appearance. Madan was vesatile enough to do the animated series style or in this more tight DC proper style.
Late 1990s DC was a great place for experimentation and variety, with both electric Superman and the Young Heroes fitting the bill. Fantastic page!
