Putrescence is my new word of the day, now to slide it into a work related Zoom meeting somewhere. And this page is definitely friggin cool!
I hate it when two-headed unicorn snakes are clogging up my plumbing! Cool splash!
Now THAT paints a whole different picture of dripping "yellowed putrescence."
Sockamagee!
Great splash! And it really is splashy, in every sense of the word. Chan does a great job here of creating a really exciting, dynamic scene out of a frankly revolting creature. Congrats!
Yup, DC's answer to Conan. By the great Ernie Chan, no less. When I was a young kid reading comics, representation meant nothing to me. As I grew to appreciate my heritage and racial identity, the realization that such a prominent group of Filipino artists existed and were working in the comics I loved, was such a proud moment. Names like Chan, Alcala, DeZuniga, Nebres, Nino, Redondo, and Talaoc, were all names I readily recognized, but didn't mean anything to me beyond collecting comics. Today, I couldn't be happier to share our ancestry. And of course the long traidtion continues with the next generation of names. Whilce Portacio, Lenil Yu, Philip Tan, Francis Manipul, Jerome Opena, Lan Medina, and so many more. Pinoy pride baby!
Very nice splash page!
