DescriptionBattleworld: Secret Wars Journal # 1 page 2Pencil and ink by Luca Pizzari Written by Matthew Rosenberg Marvel Comics - 2015 This story ticked several boxes for me. I loved how Pizzari penciled and especially inked this story. I loved seeing Moon Knight and a new Khonshu who was Baron of the Battleworld domain of this new setting called Egyptia. It was also so cool to see the pyramids and ancient Egyptian mythology tied with so many classic (and a few deep cuts) X-men characters! Another great page from a story I clearly missed and will now need to check out, one of the many benefits for this site to suddenly find stories and art that I want to read, see and revisit.

We get to see different X-Men costumes and looks like when they used to design for adventures in far off places. Very excited to see how they fit into this fully realized environment to stay in stealth mode.

Man, I gotta look into this artist more. Some mighty fine storytelling as you move down the page. Lotsa movement, and the combo of what's going on in-panel with the gritty lines and techniques...brings high energy. Congrats!
