Pen and ink on cardboard paper and a sheet of greaseproof paper with color test.
Size: 42 x 29 cm.
On the back the handwritten annotation: "Mortadelo 10. 4 colores en offset".

Pafman is a Spanish cartoon character created by Joaquín Cera in 1987 when he was working for Ediciones B.
The main characters in the comics are Pafman, a sloppy superhero accompanied by an anthropomorphic cat and inventor who cause a multitude of disasters in his fight against supervillains.
Pafman's adventures appeared in 1987 in Mortadelo magazine. At first, they were two pages, later they increased to four.
Compilations were made in albums of the Olé Collection.

Joaquín Cera Barrios (Barcelona, 1967) professional career in the world of humor began when he was hired by Editorial Bruguera, where he went on to write comics in the magazine "Mortadelo", which would soon disappear, along with the publisher.
With the creation in 1986 of Ediciones B, Bruguera's heir publishing house, Cera entered the payroll, beginning the most prolific stage of his career as a cartoonist. Sometimes alone (with characters like Pafman or Dr. Pacostein), sometimes in tandem with Juan Carlos Ramis (Los Xunguis).
Cera was one of the authors with the most collaborations to Ediciones B magazines of the 90s, with works for the magazines TBO, Súper Mortadelo and Súper Zipi y Zape. In fact, the Ramis-Cera duet correctly complemented already established authors such as Ibáñez, Escobar, Jan or Raf. In 1996 the publisher decided to put an end to comic magazines in order to exclusively publish albums, and all the creators, with the exception of Ibáñez and Jan, were dispatched.
